Both unit are 298mm (RS1221+) and 399mm (RS1221RP+) in depth, so they will be a perfect fit for a small rack enclouser. These models have also adapted the new AMD V1500B CPU, the same one present in 1821+ as well as in 1621+, so at the moment we have 4 NAS units (all from "+" segment) running with the new CPU architecture. Units are 10G ready via PCIe SFP+ and they provide 4x1G lan ports on the back as well. In case you want cache support you can also use the PCIe expansion by installing M2D20 or E10M20-T1 adapter cards to get 10G and NVMe support as well.
