# Synology CC400W Wi-Fi camera

In November of 2023, Synology held a one-day **Synology Solution Day** event presenting all the current products and services that they offer. 

While there was information and exhibits of all the known HW and SW options, there was one interesting bit of new information that was presented and announced.

New CC400W camera spotted at Synology Solution Day 2023

The new upcoming **Synology CC400W** camera. While nothing much is known about it other than the presented datasheet specifications during the event, this is what we do know about it.

### CC400W features:

- 4MP@30FPS recording and 125 HFoV wide-angle lens, providing high-quality recording images.
- Wi-fi camera with no PoE support
- Integrated 2-way audio, including microphone and speaker.
- Achieved IP67 certification, making the camera resistant to dust and water.
- Meets the US NDAA/TAA Act, ensuring the security and confidentiality of recording data.
- Integrates AI features, helping you monitor more effectively.

AI features include:

**Detect people and vehicles**: Cameras can detect people and vehicles moving in the monitoring area, helping to early detect suspicious objects, thereby providing timely remedial measures.

**Intrusion detection**: Camera can detect intrusion in the monitoring area, helping users protect assets effectively.

**Instant search**: You can search videos by time, subject, or event. This feature helps you easily find the video you need to investigate when an incident occurs quickly and effectively.

CC400W will almost certainly be **100% compatible with Surveillance Station 9** as well as **licence-free** just like all other Synology models. 

The new model will join the existing lineup of Synology cameras announced last year in December and rolled out in May of 2023\. These PoE models will now have another Wi-Fi-only model as part of Synology's growing portfolio of branded cameras.
