# Synology Next Business Day replacement support packs

Many Synology customers are in fact home users, small businesses, enthusiasts, and such. While for the most part, Synology devices have a 2y warranty (that can be extended to 4 or 5y, depending on your model using the new [**Extended Warranty Plus service**](https://www.blackvoid.club/synology-extended-warranty-plus/)), there are those from the business to high-end range that offers a 5y warranty out of the box.

On top of that, for those models, you can acquire something called the **next business day replacement support pack**.

In Europe offered by **The Technogroup** (part of the Evernex company), you can have several packages to choose from in order to satisfy your SLA needs for your business.

Technogroup packages come in three different versions: **on-site**, **on-site post-warranty,** and **NBD replacement**.

**NOTE**: Unlike the first two versions, the **Synology NBD replacement support package does not include on-site service**.

Support packages are sold by local distributors depending on the price of your unit. There are 13 ranges starting with €500 all the way up to €45000.

€ 500 / € 1,000 / € 2,000 / € 3,000 / € 5,000 / € 10,000 / € 15,000 / € 20,000 / € 25,000 / € 30,000 / € 35,000 / € 40,000 / € 45,000

Synology NBD replacement support packages are **extended warranties for the original basic warranty** available for Synology’s NAS enterprise systems. The term is **always 60 months**.

After you make a **return merchandise authorization** (RMA) claim that is covered under the warranty, a **replacement device will be delivered on the next working day**.

Only **original** **Synology** **components** are covered by the extended warranty and NBD service. So HDDs or SSDs that are 3rd party will not be included.
